Adur Business Centre celebrates 100 percent occupancy

Adur
Business Centre, Shoreham-by-Sea celebrates 100%
occupancy this month. Since 2006, the iconic Business
Centre has proved an extremely popular location for
local businesses. On Wednesday, tenants and centre
staff came together at a champagne celebration to
mark a first in the business centre’s
history.
 Jan
Houldcroft, Centre Manager, said, “I would like
to thank all our tenants for making Adur Business
Centre a roaring success. Despite the economic
downturn, we have achieved and sustained high levels
of occupancy over the last 2 years and from March
this year we’re full. The Centre is a testament
to the local area’s business acumen and
entrepreneurialism.”
Advanced
Solutions International (ASI), a privately-owned
global provider of software for member and
donor-based non-profits, moved into serviced offices
at the Adur Business Centre just under 3 weeks ago.
Their office accommodation needs changed recently due
to a number of employees becoming home based.
 Caroline
Mathieson, ASI’s HR and Office Manager said,
“Shoreham is the ideal location for us.
It’s accessible for our staff based in Worthing
and Brighton, parking isn’t an issue and it has
a good social scene, with new restaurants and coffee
bars opening in the town. It’s very much an up
and coming area that we’re delighted to be part
of.”
“When
it was time to look for alternatives to our previous
offices in Stenning, we found Adur Business Centre on
the GWE Business West Workspace website. We had
thought that serviced offices would be expensive, but
were pleasantly surprised to find this isn’t
the case. Separate costs can mount up – rent,
business rates, utilities etc – here it’s
all inclusive and, in total, cheaper than many
alternatives we looked at. And having only one
monthly fixed cost makes it easier to manage and plan
our finances.”
“The
building is impressive, the interior modern,
comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the Centre
staff friendly and helpful, nothing is too much
trouble. We were given a lot of support with set-up
when we moved in, especially with our IT
infrastructure as our needs were quite
specific.”
The Adur
Business Centre offers easy-in, easy-out serviced

launch in July 2006, the Adur Business Centre has
been providing space to start up and growing
companies. In partnership with centre management
company GWE Business West Workspace, the South East
England Development Agency (SEEDA) has developed the
business centre to be a considerable success. The
centre is part of SEEDA's award winning Ropetackle
site, in Shoreham by Sea, which demonstrates high
standards of sustainability.
